Antonio Brown: ‘It’s not something I want to do, embarrass my organization’

Antonio Brown

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown seemingly can’t move on from the Facebook Live video he posted after his team’s divisional playoff win over the Kansas City Chiefs last month.

In Houston for Super Bowl LI, Brown appeared on Fox Sports’ Undisputed with Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe to discuss a wide range of issues. Of course, the video itself, which has acted as a lightning rod, came up.

The backstory here is by now well known. Immediately after his Steelers took out the Kansas City Chiefs to punch a ticket to the AFC Championship Game, Brown posted a video to Facebook of the conversations and celebrations that were taking place in the locker room.

It was definitely a breach of protocol, one that found Brown himself fined by the Steelers. It also painted head coach Mike Tomlin in a bad light.

We do have to give Brown credit for making the rounds in Houston. Answering questions from Bayless, the receiver absolutely knew he wasn’t going to be able to skirt the issue.

Maybe he can now move on from what was a drama that defined Pittsburgh’s postseason after a stellar regular season from the team.
