Late in December, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. posted a video to his Instagram of a kid who received his No. 13 jersey for Christmas. The video had gone viral due to the child’s priceless reaction after opening his gift.

OBJ kindly offered to sign the jersey and did just that in his Week 17 game against the Washington Redskins.

This is how Beckham captioned his original Instagram post of the kid opening his gift.

“When I tell u it’s these moments that make everything worth it, the ups and downs of life in general. The drama and unnecessary bs i go through on a daily basis. I just wanna thank God for being able to impact lives, young man get this jersey to me somehow. I’ll make sure to sign it for u. Truly truly blessed. #HappyHolidays”

It is amazing that Beckham was able to make good on his promise. After Beckham signed the jersey, the Giants proceeded to handily beat Washington at FedEx Field, 19-10.

As a result, the Giants will square off against the Green Bay Packers this Sunday in a Wild Card playoff game. We can probably be sure one young fan in particular will be cheering for OBJ to take home the win.
