We can all be in agreement that the NFL attempting to force us to wake up early Sunday morning for an additional three hours of football probably wasn’t the best of ideas.

Even in a nation that’s as divided as ours, we can pretty much all come to this very same conclusion. Right?

Well, at least the NFL is listening to those responsible for it being a multi-billion dollar business.

According to Joe Flint of the Wall Street Journal (h/t Pro Football Talk), NFL has decided to ditch the early-morning London games that have acted as nothing more than an extension of our Saturday night hangovers.

This season alone, three different games have kicked off in London at 6:30 am PST Sunday morning. Not only is that asking fans to wake up extra early to watch football, it sets into motion football overload that includes a good 12-plus hours of football for the most diehard of fans.

And in reality, these early-morning games have not been much to write home about. Heck, the last game between the Washington Redskins and Cincinnati Bengals ended in a tie.
