Parking lot prices for Rams preseason game will blow your mind

Welcome to Los Angeles, where the cost to park your car for a Rams preseason game is more than many people make in a day at work after taxes.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter was on hand for the first Rams game in more than 21 years, and he shared this picture to show how much it costs fans to park their car.

Now, we all know prices in LA can be insane, but this is kind of ridiculous. Heck, this is much more expensive than it is to buy a ticket for many preseason games around the nation.

And when you consider the Rams sold around 90,000 tickets for tonight’s game, it’s even more staggering. I’m no math expert, but those parking lots are reeling in the cash. Even assuming four people per car, you’re looking at *gasp* $1.8 million being spent on parking Saturday night.

$1.8 million. For parking.

No wonder Rams owner Stan Kroenke was so eager to leave St. Louis.

In other news, we bet the folks at Uber are going to get a ton of business out of this development.
