Rose Lavelle nutmeg
Michael Chow-USA TODAY Sports

Rose Lavelle nearly set up the U.S. Women’s team with an early goal against England in the World Cup Semi-final off an incredible nutmeg.

With just over four minutes having gone by in the first half, Lavelle absolutely toyed with her defender, going right in between her legs before running around her to for a strike.

Just amazing footwork by Lavelle, and fans were in awe.

This one play epitomized how it’s gone early for the U.S. Women’s team against England, as the Americans have dictated the pace from the start.
