The Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons rivalry has provided some incredible on-field moments in recent seasons. But they’ve all just been topped by the Panthers’ Twitter account unleashing a video that utterly mocked and trolled their rival following the Falcons’ jersey reveal on Wednesday.

The Falcons didn’t plan to release their new jersey designs until later this month, but a leak pushed the team to unveil them in a video on Wednesday morning. The design drew mixed reactions, with NFL fans split on the overall look. But the Panthers didn’t hold back with a video that is going to leave some scars for quite some time.

The reaction itself is pure gold between the incredible laugh and then the cutaway to the “Mean Machine” jerseys from The Longest Yard. The Panthers could have just tweeted out the video as its own tweet, but quote tweeting the Falcons’ original post made sure their rival saw it.

The Falcons were certainly hoping to get the kind of reaction the Tampa Bay Buccaneers received on Tuesday during their uniform unveiling, they fell quite short of that. We’ll just have to see if the Panthers have any plans for a new jersey design, which might give the Falcons a shot at revenge.
