Wednesday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies wasn’t always pretty for Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves. But as time expired in overtime, they got the result they needed.
With the score tied and time running down, Andrew Wiggins put up a shot and missed. Towns grabbed the offensive rebound with just enough time to hit a turnaround jumper as time expired.

Replays confirmed that while it was close, Towns indeed got the shot off in time.
Towns finished the game with 16 points and 10 boards. The win was just what the doctor ordered for the Timberwolves, who are trying to claw back into playoff position.
