In his final game against the Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade provided a finish that was, to put it lightly, extremely memorable.
Trailing by two in the game’s final seconds, the Miami Heat had the ball. Golden State actually had the play well defended and knocked the ball loose. That’s when Wade grabbed it and put up an off-balance three as time was expiring. It went in for the future Hall of Famer.
The play was reviewed. But Wade clearly got the ball off in time.
Even for NBA legends like Wade, it’s sometimes better to be lucky than good.
