Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is one of the most difficult receivers to cover in the NFL. Unsurprisingly, it’s impossible to stop him when you leave him open and the Denver Broncos just learned that obvious lesson.
Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson saw a clear lane to step into and as soon as he found the open space, Watson saw Hopkins streaking across the field with no one around him. He threw a quick bullet and Hopkins pulled in before strolling in for one of the easiest touchdowns in his career.
Fortunately for Denver, it’s been the only big play made by the Texans on Sunday. As long as the Broncos don’t make it a habit, they should still cruise to an incredible victory against the Texans.
