The XFL certainly has done a lot the past couple of days to establish itself as a unique brand, and things like that will only further endear the rebooted league to fans eager for a more genuine product.

These guys are clearly having a blast, and it’s great that the teams are so engaged with fans on social media. The league has gotten some excellent reviews, and none other than NFL Hall of Famer Troy Aikman said he thinks it has a chance to succeed.

Time will tell, but the early television ratings show people were tuning in during Week 1.
