WATCH: Allen Hurns gets injured on huge hit in return to Dallas

Allen Hurns

Allen Hurns will not have fond memories of playing at AT&T Stadium. Coming back to the venue in which he suffered his gruesome ankle injury, Hurns was lit up by former Dallas Cowboys teammate Jeff Heath in the first quarter.

The hit was extremely violent, with both players pursuing a dangerous throw by Josh Rosen. As the ball arrived, so also did both players, and Heath got Hurns facemask-to-facemask sending him to the ground hard.

The scary part was when Hurns’ head bounced off the turf. He remained on the ground for a while but eventually was able to walk off the field. However, it would be stunning if he played again in this game after suffering what appeared to be concussion-like symptoms following that huge hit.
