It’s the offseason for NFL players, which means they have more time for off-field activities than ever. For Tyreek Hill and many others, that means more interviews too.

This is perfect because the Miami Dolphins receiver has sky-high confidence in his abilities, which can lead to some fascinating takeaways. Whic, when you’re as fast as ‘The Cheetah’, it only makes sense to believe you can accomplish nearly anything.

But stepping in the ring with a professional boxer? Hill says he could do it, and specifically, he wants to go toe-to-toe with Jake Paul.

Tyreek Hill is very quick on his feet. He also has good hands. These are both necessary traits for a successful boxer.

Now, he says he wants to either get in the cage or fight Jake Paul.

Either way, Hill doesn’t think the YouTube star is very tough.

“Just take it to the cage, bro. That’s why I want to meet Dana White, I want to get in the cage. I want to get in the cage or I want to box.”

“I think my first fight needs to be like Jake Paul or something like that.”

A 5-foot-10 and 191 pounds, Hill isn’t exactly an ideal matchup for Paul, who is 6-foot-1 and weighs roughly 186 pounds. Then again, maybe Hill’s speed could work wonders in the ring.

What’s really ironic here is that the two stars have already met, with Paul even appearing on Hill’s podcast back in 2022. It’s safe to say that Hill wasn’t very impressed unless this is all a big joke, where he’s giving a buddy a hard time.

Set to turn 30 in March, Hill’s primary career focus is obviously on the NFL right now. But for how often we’ve seen retired athletes dip their toe in boxing, we wouldn’t entirely rule out Hill doing the same, but not before his NFL career is over.
