The much discussed right thumb of Tom Brady looked fine on the opening drive of the AFC Championship. The New England Patriots quarterback was 6-for-6 with 57 yards passing on that first drive against the Jacksonville Jaguars, including a beautiful touch pass to convert a fourth down.
Twitter was there to comment on Brady’s apparent bionic hand.
Tom Brady on the opening drive: 6-6, 57 yards. Hand didn't appear to be an issue even after that last tackle. Business as usual on sideline as well afterwards.

People really thought some stitches were going to stop Tom Brady? Guy is making it seem like he’s playing backyard football.

4 minutes into the Jags Pats game, I think it’s safe to say we don’t need to hear about Tom Brady’s hand again.

Oh look, turns out Tom Brady's injury was overblown.

The Jacksonvillle defense did hold strong in the red zone, forcing a field goal. But the opening drive was enough to convince many tweeters that Brady’s hand is okay.
