Eli Manning was sacked on Monday Night by Ziggy Ansah — kind of. Manning took a sack and Ansah got the credit. But a closer looked showed that Ansah never did touch the New York Giants quarterback.
Rather, Manning waived the white flag.

Of course, Twitter had some fun at Eli’s expense.
Gotta give credit to Eli Manning for the #Lions 4th sack tonight. Would have looked funnier had Ansah just stopped running. #NFL #Giants pic.twitter.com/7BFowdTaWE

Nobody falls down from the fear of getting hit quite like Eli Manning. #ESPNMNF

Naturally, the photo shop game was strong, as well.

It was a rough first half for Eli. But he did prove something that we’ve known about him for years. Good, bad, or somewhere in between, Manning is not boring.
