ESPN didn’t want anyone tipping picks during the 2018 NBA Draft. It was widely reported as a mandate, but none of that mattered to NBA insider, legendary Adrian Wojnarowski.
Woj was dropping bombs from halfcourt from even well before the draft began. He just couldn’t help himself. And quite honestly, what was ESPN going to do here, fire him?
Twitter had a field day with this.

Woj is making a mockery of ESPN management. It’s incredible. Zero respect for authority. I can relate. Absolutely love it

Woj just straight up ignoring his bosses and tipping picks anyway. Love it.

Woj tweeting out the picks when the league wanted ESPN not to do it, is Stone Cold Steve Austin late 90's stuff. I'm waiting for a middle finger emoji with the next pick. 🖕 https://t.co/2Q7V5P5EqC

Not sure there is much point in watching the NBA draft. Just follow @wojespn on Twitter to find out what's going on.

ESPN told Woj not to tweet #NBADraft picks before they happen.

Woj defeating the NBA in tweeting out "zeroed in" rather than "will select" is the biggest victory since Bill Simmons was taken off the ESPN NBA Draft Panel https://t.co/wkHRTJA5pd

Adrian Wojnarowski is zeroing in on, is focused on, is locked on, is thinking about, is growing comfortable with, is going to be tipping picks
