The Houston Rockets advanced into the Western Conference Finals with a 112-102 win over the Utah Jazz Tuesday night, thanks in large part to a career game by Chris Paul. The veteran point guard finished the game with 41 points and dominated the final stretch, posting his highest point total for his career in postseason play.
8-10 FROM THREE.

On a night when James Harden didn’t have his usual magic on offense, it was CP3 who did a ton of damage.
James Harden is 7–22 from the field and 1-7 from 3. Chris Paul is 13-22 and 8-10 from 3. CP3 has always shown up in the playoffs. The narrative that he didn’t was always so far off the mark to me. #NBA #Rockets

Not surprisingly, he absolutely delighted the home crowd in Houston.
Twitter was in awe of what Paul accomplished. Here are some of the best posts from the masses.
Congratulations to @CP3 on posting his signature postseason performance and reaching his first Western Conference Final.

The dumbest narrative in the NBA just died a cruel and necessary death. Chris Paul is in the Conference Finals.
