Phoenix All-Star point guard Chris Paul was ejected from the Suns’ Wednesday game against the Houston Rockets after making contact with official J.T. Orr — apparently inadvertently — during the third quarter.

Paul received a technical foul from Orr after arguing a non-call with 9:07 left in the third quarter. Paul was chirping at Orr as both men moved toward the sideline when Orr suddenly moved to his right and Paul’s left shoulder bumped him.

Orr, 48, then gave Paul another technical. Paul departed for the locker room once he realized he had received a second technical.

Paul had 11 points and six assists in 19 minutes prior to his ejection.
