As a result, he is going to lose some late-down work to pass-catching running back Danny Woodhead moving forward. A Week 1 matchup against the Detroit Lions that allowed only seven rushing scores all last year, along with an average of 45 rush yards per game proves this is no time to gamble with Gordon.
