Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Sammie Coates might want to turn back the clock to go ahead and have his broken finger surgically repaired. Because his “healed” index finger is just nasty, and we imagine not exactly 100-percent functional.
For those brave enough to look, here it is.
Again, we’re warning you. It’s gross.
One more time, a warning: If you’re squeamish about body parts not looking normal, don’t scroll down.

That’s just grody.
Hopefully it won’t impede Coates from hauling in Ben Roethlisberger passes. He was already a guy who struggled with dropsies before breaking his finger last year.
Coates is currently a bit buried on Pittsburgh’s depth chart behind the likes of newly reinstated Martavis Bryant, rookie JuJu Smith-Schuster, Darrius Heyward-Bey, Eli Rodgers and that one other guy…what’s his name?
Oh, that’s right. His name is Antonio Brown.
It’s going to be interesting to see if Coates can hang on to a roster spot this summer. Or anything else, for that matter.
