Richard Sherman’s Latest Burn, “Sorry Crabtree”

It’s funny how just a couple inches can change the outcome of history around the National Football League. If Colin Kaepernick’s last minute pass to Michael Crabtree was two inches higher, the San Francisco 49ers would likely be coming off their sixth Super Bowl championship. It wasn’t, and Richard Sherman is making it perfectly clear to anyone willing to listen.

We already know the antics Sherman pulled after the Seattle Seahawks late-game victory over San Francisco in the NFC Championship game. Speaking of history, that’s going to go down in the history books as one of the great postgame interviews of all-time. Almost three months later, and Sherman still seems to be riding high. And for good measure.

Maybe it’s time we petition the NFL to put a third Seahawks-49ers game on the regular season schedule. After all, who doesn’t want to see Sherman and Crabtree up against one another about 15 times in the next year? If you’re one of the few that doesn’t, maybe go back and watch reruns of curling matches from the Olympics. We don’t need you around these parts.
