Richard Sherman showed up for Seahawks’ voluntary workouts

Well it appears the dramatic question about whether Richard Sherman will be traded can be put to rest. The Seattle Seahawks cornerback attended voluntary workouts Monday, which likely ends the trade talks, which he reportedly started to begin with, for good.

It was previously reported Sherman would skip these voluntary workouts, so this is an extremely positive development.

The Seahawks had set an extremely high price tag on Sherman’s services as┬átrade talks became public, and it was never likely he’d be moved.

Now Sherman and the Legion of Boom can go back to their plans of NFL domination, though it’s worth pointing out this unit is getting older and has recently suffered a number of injuries. This puts the onus on Seattle to assemble more talent behind the likes of Sherman, Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor, all of whom have shown chinks in the armor recently.
