The Buffalo Bills have reached agreement on a one-year deal with free agent pass rusher Leonard Floyd, ESPN and NFL Network reported Monday.

The move continues a concerted effort by the club to bolster its defensive line, coming two days after defensive tackle Ed Oliver agreed to a four-year, $68 million extension. The Bills also signed DT Poona Ford to a one-year deal.

Floyd was released by the Los Angeles Rams in March after recording 29 sacks and starting all 50 games the past three seasons. Floyd reunites with fellow edge rusher Von Miller; the pair helped the Rams win the Super Bowl in February 2022.

Floyd, 30, has 47.5 sacks, 103 quarterback hits and 338 tackles in seven seasons with the Chicago Bears (2016-19) and Rams. The Bears selected Floyd No. 9 overall in the 2016 draft.
