Markelle Fultz

The Philadelphia 76ers may indeed end up picking No. 1 overall again in this year’s NBA Draft. According to multiple media reports, Philadelphia is in talks with the Boston Celtics about acquiring the first overall pick in next week’s draft.

This is what we would call blockbuster news around the NBA.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the deal would include Philadelphia sending the third selection and a package of future first-round picks to Boston for the first selection.

Washington product Markelle Fultz has long been linked to Boston with the No. 1 pick. Though, general manager Danny Ainge and Co. have not been afraid to make moves in order to acquire future assets. This potential deal would just follow the MO of the team’s front office over the past several seasons.
