Report: Raptors, Pascal Siakam agree to four-year, max contract extension

Fresh off an NBA championship, the Toronto Raptors can now feel even more excited about the coming season after reportedly reaching a long-term contract extension with star forward Pascal Siakam.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Siakam and the Raptors agreed to a four-year, max contract extension on Saturday.

The 25-year-old earned the league’s Most Improved Player Award last season following a breakout regular season that saw him average 16.9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.

Siakam took his game to the next level in the playoffs and played a pivotal role in Toronto’s championship. He averaged 19 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists per night in the postseason.
