According to Noah Bullard of NBC 5 in Dallas, Hardy has been arrested on possession of a controlled substance.

The “PG1” designation here is what’s so alarming. It stands for “penalty group 1,” which includes a list of the most-dangerous controlled substances under Texas state law. It includes such drugs as heroine and cocaine.
There’s not much information available here. According to the report, Hardy was transported to the Richardson County Jail, where he remains Monday evening.
Hardy, a free agent, saw himself fall out of favor around the NFL after a domestic violence issue with his ex-girlfriend Nicole Holder.
After sitting out all of the 2014 season while being placed on the commissioner’s exempt list, Hardy signed on with the Dallas Cowboys. A lack of consistent production coupled with drama on his end led the Cowboys to move on from him after one season.
