When Bartolo Colon was designated for assignment by the Atlanta Braves, it appeared as though is MLB career might be over. It turns out, that is not the case. Colon was not only picked up by the Minnesota Twins, but he’ll be starting on Tuesday against Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees.

It’s safe to assume that this run will be Colon’s final chance to prove that he can still pitch at the big league level. He struggled mightily in Atlanta, posting an 8.14 ERA, 1.778 WHIP, and a 2-8 record.

He’s certainly not going to be starting off with an easy assignment. The Yankees have one of the most formidable lineups in baseball, with players up and down the lineup capable of going yard. Colon will certainly have his hands full.
