Washington Redskins tight end Niles Paul got caught under some Cleveland Browns defenders and came out of the incident with his leg bent the wrong way. Here’s a video of the play. Beware Paul’s injury is pretty ghastly.

The play took place late in the first quarter where medical staff immediately came to the field and put an air cast on Paul’s leg. From the looks of immediate severity of the injury, it would appear that Paul will be out for quite some time. Paul’s injury is an unfortunate one for the Redskins who will be left with the injury-plagued tight end Jordan Reed to help cover in his absence.
Paul tallied 31 catches for 507 yards and one touchdown during the seven games he started in 2014.
