Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Chris Moore got into a “heated discussion” with head coach John Harbaugh Friday and walked off the practice field afterward.
Jamison Hensley of ESPN shared Harbaugh did not want to get into details about the incident, saying it is an “internal” matter while noting he hopes it’s not a big deal.
It sure doesn’t sound like it’s not a big deal. Players that get into heated discussions with coaches, then walk off the field, typically represent a problem.
It’s worth pointing out that Moore hasn’t exactly been a mainstay in Baltimore’s new-look offense this season. He struggled in training camp, and through seven games Moore has been targeted just five times, catching three passes for 21 yards.
