Racing Louisville announced the signing of Colombian forward Elexa Bahr on Thursday.

Bahr, 25, signed a two-year contract through the 2025 NWSL season.

She recorded six goals in 17 matches with Colombia’s America de Cali in 2023.

“We truly believe Elexa’s fluidity and ability will enhance our group’s attack,” Racing head coach Bev Yanez said. “She has a strong willingness and vision to work on both sides of the ball in when and how to be involved. She wants to be effective in all capacities, and we are so excited she will be in purple.”

Bahr played college soccer at South Carolina from 2016-19 before launching her pro career with Racing Feminas in Spain from 2020-22.

Internationally, Bahr helped Colombia reach the quarterfinals for the first time at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
