Nashville Predators goaltender Juuse Saros will miss the last two games of the regular season because of a lower-body injury.

Saros sustained an apparent left leg injury during the third period of the Predators’ 5-4 overtime loss to the Calgary Flames on Tuesday. He skated to the bench after an interference penalty on Flames defenseman Oliver Kylington with 6:32 remaining in regulation.

David Rittich replaced Saros and surrendered a game-tying goal to Matthew Tkachuk with 0.1 seconds remaining in the third period. The Predators (44-29-7, 95 points), however, secured a postseason berth later in the night after the Dallas Stars defeated the Vegas Golden Knights.

Saros, 27, sports a 38-25-3 record with a 2.64 goals-against average, a .918 save percentage and four shutouts in an NHL-high 67 starts this season. He played in his first NHL All-Star Game earlier in the campaign.

Also on Wednesday, the Predators recalled goaltender Connor Ingram from Milwaukee of the American Hockey League.

Ingram, 25, posted a 30-17-7 record with a 2.70 goals-against average and .915 save percentage in 54 appearances with the Admirals this season.
