D’Eriq King
Biography
DC Defenders quarterback D’Eriq King had a wonderful 2020 season at Miami, but injuries largely derailed his college career. Measuring in at 5-foot-9 will likely hinder his QB future as well. His NFL potential is a large question. Unpicked in the 2022 NFL Draft, King signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent, but he was waved seven days later. After latching onto the Carolina Panthers practice squad, where he lingered for eight days, Kind was assigned to the DC Defenders of the XFL, where he’s remained since.
