Philadelphia Phillies right-hander Seranthony Dominguez signed a two-year contract extension with a club option for 2025, the team announced on Thursday.

Financial terms were not disclosed by the team for Dominguez, who was the last of the Phillies’ arbitration-eligible players for the 2023 season.

Dominguez, 28, posted a 6-5 record with nine saves, a 3.00 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in a career-high 54 relief appearances last season. He also fared well during the Phillies’ run to the World Series, going 2-0 with one save, a 1.69 ERA and 0.75 WHIP in nine games during the playoffs.

Dominguez is 11-10 with 25 saves, a 3.14 ERA and 165 strikeouts in 134 2/3 innings over 135 career appearances with the Phillies.
