NFL Network to be streamed on PlayStation Vue

Sony PlayStation Vue will add its name to the group of suppliers that currently broadcast NFL Network.

Sony made the announcement on Monday. Both the NFL Network and NFL RedZone channels will become accessible prior to the start of the regular season, which kicks off on Sept. 11.

According to the report, the PlayStation Vue’s streaming features will include cloud DVR and search tools.

Furthermore, Sony’s simultaneous streaming will allow users under the same account to view the networks on multiple devices all at the same time, consumerist.com notes.

Subscribers will have access to Thursday Night Football and an array of programming that includes highlight shows, commentary and news. Anybody with an account can also access both channels through a smart TV, and mobile devices.

For the football aficionados who don’t subscribe to NFL Network or NFL RedZone through their current providers or want to ditch their service altogether, PlayStation Vue has you covered.

Currently, the extra cost to add the NFL Networks to the PlayStation Vue is not known.
