Brooklyn Nets forward Caris LeVert has been among the best young players in the NBA thus far this season. He entered Monday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves averaging 19.0 points and shooting at a stellar 48 percent from the field.
It now looks like the Nets will be without Michigan product for the remainder of the season. LeVert suffered what appeared to be an injury akin to what we saw from Boston Celtics star Gordon Hayward last season.

You can see LeVert’s leg snap as he lands. This is just some horrible news for both the young forward and his team. The good news? LeVert is only 24 years old, and he’ll be back.
Hayward and Paul George provided the path for similar recoveries in the past.
