Myles Garrett hurt ankle/foot during practice Wednesday

Myles Garrett Cleveland Browns practice

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett missed some practices during OTAs with a foot injury, and he may have re-injured that foot on Wednesday.

During practice, Garrett went down during a two-minute drill while in on a sack. He then was attended to by trainers, who were looking at his foot/ankle. Then he limped off the field and took a knee.

It’s not great news for the No. 1 overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft. Foot injuries are tricky to begin with, and players like receivers, running backs and pass rushers who rely on a quick get-off tend to deal with them more than others.

Hopefully this isn’t a big deal and won’t leak into training camp. However, this mini-string of injuries isn’t something that will make the brass in Cleveland feel great about. For a team that seems like it might finally be ready to emerge from the cellar, it’s not encouraging, to say the least.
