Snoop Conner and the Mississippi Rebels were having their way Monday against against a lesser Louisville Cardinal steam in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game.
How bad was it for Louisville? Well, just ask cornerback Chandler Jones. He was on the receiving end of an absolutely brutal hit from Snoop Conner as the junior back scored from 11 yards out early in the fourth quarter to put Ole Miss up by the score of 36-10.
Did we say it was brutal? You be the judge.
This game might have been taking place in Atlanta, but you could hear that thud from both Kentucky and Oxford.
Talk about taking a man’s soul.
Having made an appearance in our top 25 ahead of their season opener, the Rebels are more than proving themselves in front of a national audience.
If Snoop Conner continues to run like this, we might have about Lane Kiffin’s squad before all is done in the SEC this season. The former three-star recruit gained 1,076 yards and 13 touchdowns in his first two seasons with Mississippi playing behind the likes of John Rhys Plumlee and Jerrion Ealy.
