Miles Bridges declares for NBA draft

Miles Bridges is heading to the NBA.

The Michigan State star announced he will leave the university and pursue the pros, also announcing he will sign with Rich Paul and Klutch Sports.

Bridges will not have the option of returning to college, but he shouldn’t need MSU as a fallback anyway. He’s widely projected as a lottery pick and could edge into the top 10 of the 2018 draft.

The left-handed forward can reinforce that billing during the pre-draft process. He’s exceptionally athletic in a 6’7″, 230-pound frame.

As a sophomore, Bridges earned second-team AP All-America honors. He averaged 17.1 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists while hitting 36.4 percent of his threes.

Rich Paul, one of the NBA’s most recognizable agents, represents LeBron James, John Wall and more than a dozen NBA players.
