Trust me, you’re not the only one still recovering from Free Agency news, this girl is wiped out. A lot happened in the NFL just in the past week. Some things good, some things, we aren’t so sure. One in particular is Michael Oher’s four-year, $20 million contract with the Tennessee Titans.
Oher was brought over from Baltimore, and a couple questions are raised. Did the Titans pay too much? The answer seems to be yes. The 27 year-old left tackle, seemed to get progressively worse as time went on for the Ravens. He was dead-last in run blocking with eight sacks allowed in 2013 according to rotoworld.com. That combined with a lot of false starts, it seems the Ravens aren’t exactly crying or singing “Wrecking Ball” when Michael Oher is sent away. At this point, Sandra Bullock could have done a better job.
Titans overpaid, but there weren’t too many options going into this decision at the time. Let’s hope he has a more successful stint with Tennessee than he did in Baltimore.
