Lambeau Field to reopen in limited capacity on Tuesday

Lambeau Field

NFL facilities are starting to open up across the country with teams following guidelines set by the league and city officials. In another step toward football being played in the fall, Lambeau Field will reopen on Tuesday.

The Green Bay Packers closed Lambeau Field and the team’s Titletown District on March 13 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now with things steadily improving across the country, one of the NFL’s most iconic stadiums will reopen with operations slowly ramping up.

As part of the NFL’s guidelines for phase one of the return, the team won’t allow more than 75 employees to be working at the facility. The Packers won’t be allowed to have coaches or players at the facility unless a player is rehabilitating an injury or working with the medical staff.

The NFL’s current policies are in place to provide all 32 teams with equal competitive standing. While players can’t train together on the team’s property, Tom Brady proved there are other ways around the NFL’s rule.
