Max Muncy hit a two-run home run and Julio Urias pitched seven strong innings as the Los Angeles Dodgers earned a 7-1 victory over the visiting Seattle Mariners on Wednesday to finish a two-game interleague sweep.

Matt Beaty drove in three runs for the Dodgers, who had failed to win six consecutive series before the Mariners came to town. The series drought started with a two-game split at Seattle on April 19-20 before Los Angeles dropped its next five sets.

Dylan Moore drove in a run for the Mariners, who were held to a pair of singles while taking their fourth straight loss.

Seattle starter Justin Dunn (1-1) lasted just 3 1/3 innings, giving up two runs on three hits with three walks and two strikeouts. He left after throwing 72 pitches.

Urias (5-1) was perfect for 4 1/3 innings before Ty France singled in the fifth inning. The Dodgers left-hander wound up permitting one run on two hits with one walk and six strikeouts.

Against the Mariners this season, Urias has allowed a combined one run on three singles with 17 strikeouts over 14 innings in two starts. He yielded one hit over seven scoreless innings at Seattle on April 20.

The Dodgers loaded the bases with no outs in the fourth inning but only scored on Beaty’s two-run double with one out for a 2-0 advantage. The Mariners cut the deficit in half on Moore’s RBI single in the fifth.

Los Angeles took control in their half of the fifth with a two-out rally. After Mookie Betts and Corey Seager were retired, Justin Turner singled and Muncy hit a home run to center, his seventh. Three batters later, Beaty had an RBI single for a 5-1 lead, and Gavin Lux followed with a run-scoring single.

Muncy reached base four times on two walks, a home run and a single. He has homered in consecutive games, giving him long balls in four of his past seven contests.

AJ Pollock, who has been used sparingly of late because of a hamstring strain, added a pinch-hit RBI single for the Dodgers in the seventh inning.
