Johnny Manziel was seen heading into a club early on Monday morning.
It was TMZ Sports that spotted Manziel — quarterback of the AAF’s Memphis Express — heading into a Hollywood club.
“TMZ Sports got video of Manziel, solo, walking into Nightingale Plaza — a West Hollywood club — a little after 1 AM early Monday morning,” TMZ Sports reported. “It’s unclear what he did inside … or how long he stayed at the spot.”
For most players, this wouldn’t be noteworthy at all. It may not be for Manziel, either, of course. He might have just been meeting some friends and going to have a good time.
However, his NFL career was derailed in no small part due to his partying. So, heading into a club at that hour of the night (or morning, in this case) is certainly notable.
On the field, Manziel’s AAF career is off to an up and down start. He was knocked out of Saturday’s game with the Orlando Apollos with a concussion that came when making a tackle following an interception.
Off the field, Manziel is dealing with a “very sad” split from his wife, Breana Tiesi.
