Joel Embiid and Terry Rozier got into it a bit during Game 4 in Philadelphia Monday night as the Sixers and Boston Celtics battled.
After the game, Embiid claimed Rozier tried to punch him twice before taking a shot at the guard for being “too short and couldn’t get to my face,” per Derek Bodner of The Athletic.
The way we saw it, Rozier shoved Embiid, who ended up getting a double technical foul along with Boston’s Jayson Tatum (watch here).
That wasn’t the only heated moment during the elimination game for the 76ers, either. Embiid also got into it a bit with Marcus Morris, talking trash before Morris taunted him by signaling “3-0” with his hands multiple times.
Needless to say, these two scrappy teams are starting to get to that point where there is absolutely no love lost between them. And if Philly wins Game 5 to continue extending the series, that will only intensify.
