After dealing with a toe injury throughout most of the season, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green appears to be back to his old self on the football field.
Green put up 12 catches for 121 yards on 16 targets in Cincinnati’s much-needed 22-13 victory over the Houston Texans. And while he was dominating the Houston Texans secondary, the Pro Bowl receiver was throwing a little shade their way.
You’d better get somebody else on me.
These comments were apparently directed at reserve Texans’ cornerback A.J. Bouye.
Having Green back to his old self could be huge for a Bengals team that remains in first place in the ultra-competitive AFC North heading into Week 13. When healthy, he’s among the most electric pass catchers in the NFL.
