The Big Ten men’s basketball tournament is almost here, and it’s bound to be as exciting as ever. Taking place at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from March 13 through 17, the teams of the Big Ten conference will go head to head to determine which team will take home the top prize. Last year’s champion Purdue University is looking good going into this year’s postseason and is hoping to defend their title, but only time will tell if they can hold on and clinch another victory.

NCAA basketball fans won’t want to miss out on any of the fun, but this year’s tournament viewing is unique. Not all of the games will be airing traditionally — the first two games of the tournament are streaming exclusively on Peacock, while the rest will be on other networks. To find out more about how and where you can stream the Big Ten men’s basketball tournament, keep reading.

Where to watch the 2024 Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament

This season, the Big Ten men’s basketball tournament games will air on CBS, the Big Ten Network and on Peacock. Below, you’ll find where you can stream CBS and the Big Ten Network, and we’ve also included a section on Peacock.

Watch on Sling TV (Featured partner)

We’re normally big fans of Sling TV, but the downfall of this streaming service is that it doesn’t include CBS, so you’ll be missing out on a few games of the tournament — including the championship. Plus, the majority of the games are on Big Ten Network, which requires the Sports Extra add-on for $11 per month on top of whichever monthly plan you choose (plans start at $40 per month). Not to mention that if you want to watch every game of the tournament, you have to get a Peacock subscription, too.

Sling TV is a good budget-friendly streaming service, though, and you will still get 50 hours of cloud DVR and a variety of entertainment and news channels, as well as a few local channels in some geographic regions.

Watch on DIRECTV STREAM

DIRECTV STREAM includes both CBS and Big Ten Network as long as you choose Choice, Ultimate, or Premier, which starts at $108.99 per month. With Choice and up, you’re guaranteed at least 105+ channels for your viewing enjoyment, including all but the first two games of the Big Ten tournament (which will, of course, require Peacock).

Also with DIRECTV STREAM, you’ll get unlimited cloud DVR, and you can also stream on multiple devices — so if you’re watching the tournament while everyone in the house wants to watch something else, it’s no big deal. There are plenty of other sports channels to enjoy as well, including NBA TV, Golf Channel, FS1, FS2, ESPN, and more.

Watch on Fubo

Fubo has the largest channel selection of all of the streamers mentioned here. Starting at $79.99 per month, a Fubo Pro plan includes 170+ channels. And that base plan includes Big Ten Network and CBS, so you don’t even need to upgrade to a higher tier to get the channels you need for the tournament. In that package, you’ll also get networks like ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, and local channels.

Plus, Fubo lets you stream on 10 screens simultaneously, and you get 1,000 hours of cloud DVR.

Watch on Hulu + Live TV

With a Hulu + Live TV subscription, which starts at $76.99 per month for an ad-supported plan, you’ll get both CBS and Big Ten Network. The subscription includes 85+ channels, and within that, you’ll also get sports channels like ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, FS2, and more. What’s unique about Hulu + Live TV, though, is that you’ll also get the streamer’s entire on-demand catalog, which includes movies, TV shows, and more.

What makes Hulu + Live TV an even better value is that the subscription also includes Disney Plus and ESPN Plus for no extra cost. Customers will gain access to everything Disney Plus has to offer (yes, that means Star Wars and Marvel), as well as all the extra sports viewing on ESPN Plus.

Watch on YouTube TV

YouTube TV offers both CBS and Big Ten Network in its base plan, which is also its only plan. For $72.99 per month, you get more than 100 channels, including sports, news, family-friendly viewing, and more. As far as sports go, you’ll get not only your Big Ten game channels (minus the Peacock-exclusive games), but you’ll also get NBA TV, Motortrend, ESPN, and many more.

YouTube TV also offers unlimited cloud DVR so you can record the games for later if you’re not home, and you can stream on three devices simultaneously, just in case you have a few people in the house who want to watch something else at the same time.

Watch on Peacock

The first two games of the Big Ten tournament are streaming exclusively on Peacock, so if you want to catch all of the action, you’ll need this streamer in addition to another streamer. Plans start at $5.99 per month for live events, movies, shows, and current NBC and Bravo shows. Plus, you’ll have access to plenty of Big Ten events, in addition to this tournament play. You can also opt for the ad-free plan for $11.99 per month.
