In news that has seemingly come out of nowhere, Atlanta Hawks star guard Trae Young is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets with a hamstring injury.
Young seemingly suffered the injury Friday night against Washington Wizards. He was limited to 31 minutes in the 111-101 loss.
The hope here is that this injury is not serious. Though, hamstring injuries do have a way of lingering.
Young, 21, is averaging 28.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 8.4 assists for the downtrodden Hawks this season. He’s been one of the few bright spots for the 8-31 team.
