Memphis star guard Ja Morant has been cleared to play in Game 3 of the Grizzlies’ playoff series with the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night.
Morant, who averaged 26.2 points, 8.1 assists and 5.9 rebounds in the regular season, has been dealing with right hand soreness. He played in the first game of the best-of-seven, first-round series against the Lakers but was ruled out of Game 2.
In Game 1, he came off the bench to score 18 points with six rebounds in the Lakers 128-112 victory. The Grizzlies won Game 2 103-93 on Wednesday.
