Garry Gilliam and Jon Ryan Stole Aaron Rodgers “Discount Double Check” for TD Celebration

What better way to celebrate a touchdown than to perform the signature move of the opposing team’s quarterback? This is what both Seattle Seahawks’ tackle Garry Gilliam and punter Jon Ryan did when they mocked Green Bay Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ “Discount Double Check” move.

While it wasn’t caught on the live broadcast, these are the moves Gilliam clearly stole from Rodgers.

And even more sweet it was for Jon Ryan to mock Rodgers right in front of his former coach Mike McCarthy, who cut him back in 2008. When Ryan’s brother questioned him about his moves, Ryan fessed up (via USA Today).

I did the belt. “laughing,’ right at (Packers coach) Mike McCarthy.

It’s not often a punter gets to throw a touchdown to an offensive tackle. If Gilliam and Ryan didn’t celebrate in style on Sunday, who knows when the next opportunity could come?
