Flames’ Adam Ruzicka signs two-year contract

Restricted free agent forward Adam Ruzicka signed a two-year contract with an average annual value of $762,500 to remain with the Calgary Flames on Wednesday.

It will be a two-way contract in the first season of the deal, and a one-way contract in the second.

Ruzicka, 23, recorded 10 points (five goals, five assists) in 28 games last season with the Flames. He also had 20 points (11 goals, nine assists) in 16 games in 2021-22 with the Stockton Heat of the American Hockey League.

Ruzicka has 11 points (five goals, six assists) in 31 career games since being selected by the Flames in the fourth round in the 2017 NHL Draft.
