FC Dallas acquired forward Jesus Jimenez and a 2023 international roster spot on Monday, sending midfielder Brandon Servania to Toronto FC in exchange.

Jimenez, 29, made his MLS debut in 2022 with Toronto and contributed nine goals and three assists in 33 regular-season matches (27 starts) after four seasons with Gornik Zabrze of Poland’s first division. In Toronto, he scored nine goals and three assists in 33 MLS regular-season appearances.

“We’re excited to bring Jesus Jimenez to the group,” said Andre Zanotta, Dallas’ technical director. “We wanted to bring another attacking option to the roster. Jesus is an experienced player with a proven goal-scoring record in the league and we felt like he would complement our group really well.”

Servania, 23, signed with FC Dallas in January 2018 as a homegrown player. He joined the FC Dallas Academy in 2015 and appeared in the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He made his sole U.S. national team appearance on Feb 1, 2020, in an international friendly against Costa Rica.

In four seasons with FC Dallas, Servania appeared in 67 matches (43 starts) and registered four goals and seven assists.
