The Atlanta FaZe swept OpTic Texas 3-0 on Sunday to go undefeated in qualifying action for the Call of Duty League’s Stage 1 Major.

Atlanta won 250-235 on Invasion Hardpoint, 6-3 on Invasion Search & Destroy and 3-1 on Highrise Control to lock down the No. 1 seed with a 7-0 record.

McArthur “Cellium” Jovel led the all-American FaZe with match bests in kills (61) and kill-death ratio (1.56). Amer “Pred” Zulbeari of Australia finished with 56 kills and a plus-1.04 K-D for Texas.

Seeding for the tournament was determined through a series of qualifying matches.

After falling 250-168 on Sub Base Hardpoint, Los Angeles prevailed 6-3 on Terminal Search & Destroy and 3-1 on Invasion Control to move in front. Carolina stayed alive with a 250-176 win on Karachi Hardpoint, but the Thieves took Karachi Search & Destroy 6-4 to grab the victory.

Great Britain’s Cameron “Cammie” McKilligan racked up 83 kills to go along with a plus-1.11 K-D ratio for Los Angeles, while American Isaiah “Gwinn” Gwinn totaled 94 kills in the loss.
